At Black Hills Woodworks, I am proud to salvage, reclaim and re-purpose the materials used in each piece.  Due to the nature of reclaimed materials, the colors, textures, and inherent characteristics of the wood and steel will vary from piece to piece. Blemishes, small checks and knots are always present in reclaimed wood and should be expected. I’m happy to accommodate your preferences, but I’m also beholden to Mother Nature.

 

Returns

Given the process of custom orders, Black Hills Woodworks is not liable to offer a refund for custom furniture if the project has been started. If you have placed an order, but I have not started the order, I will return to you a full refund (minus a 10% return fee and any charges that I incurred during the process). Credit card transactions fees are non-refundable.

 

Stocked and Delivered Products

Proof of purchase is required for a refund, and upon receiving the return, your item will be inspected. After the inspection is satisfactory, exchanges, credits, and refunds will be issued for the purchase price only. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state and local laws. Shipping charges are non-refundable, with the exception of damaged or defective  merchandise. Return shipping and re-stocking fees may apply. I am not required to accept returns on damaged products unless the damage occurred in shipping or is a manufacturer's error. Nature of reclaimed wood is not an error.  I fabricate a limited amount of products to sell exclusively at the Shaviq.biz  in Rapid City, SD. We accept returns on these items within 10 days of purchase. The product must be in new, unused condition. After inspection, you will be refunded the amount minus a 10% return fee and any charges that we incurred during the process.
